Esther Valdes is committed to involving the Coronado business community in supporting and sponsoring our students and schools. Esther is a small business owner and understands the importance of educating our future leaders in the workforce. As a school board member, Esther is committed to continuing to foster business involvement in our schools. Since 2010, Esther has served as a guest speaker for several school districts and is a frequent speaker throughout San Diego County.
Esther is the proud parent of a Coronado High School Student, Class of 2015. Paulina Valdes, attended Coronado schools, and received the best educational experience at our local schools. She is currently a college Sophomore, seeking a degree in Business.
Endorsed by Bob Wells, Mayor of El Cajon, who recently led the City of El Cajon through racial divisions occasioned by a police shooting. Mayor Wells has endorsed Esther for the Coronado School Board, and believes her qualifications and experience are what is necessary to build a strong educational system for parents, students, and educators.
